NERD FOOD: XBOX Cookies
My friend Sandie is modelling the xbox cookies I made for coworkers, then later a bake sale! All you do is make sugar cookies, shape them into elephant heads and put m&ms for the buttons, jujubes for the joysticks, and icing to make the x!

FAN EXPO & FULL INDIE
What an amazing day. I loved the art being sold at Fan Expo.
I got to meet Camilla d'Errico! I used to doodle her art, loved her before she was big, follow her art to this date. I am SO stoked. She ranks high on my list, Lynda Barry being at the top. And now I've met them both! She is so nice too! She gave me a cherry tomato :)
Paul got me some sweet swag!
He also got to play "Last of Us"!
Full Indie yesterday also was excellent.
I really liked learning about 1-2-3D Catch, which is an AutoCad program that models 3D items for you. Basically, you take 48-64 pictures of an object all around it and send it to the program's server and it sends you back a model you can use. It's a bit like the process I did with Kristen, capturing her puppet head, where we rotated the head and snapped every angle of the head puppet. Though, the two speakers of Rust Clad do something opposite - they move around the object with a camera rig. A homemade one too! Brilliant.
I really loved East Side Games talk, about how they try to work against being a big company... one that has "meetings about meetings". How they have a pitch every month, where everyone in the studio is free to tell the team their ideas. It sounds like an amazing place to work!
Full Indie is coming up this week. I'd really like to go to get more feedback on my game, but I'm going to the Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy Symphony. SO NERDY! B)

2 hrs of sleep ftw
SO TIRED.
I stayed up the majority of last night finessing things. I'm sure things are still kinda fudgy. I was swapping the assets mostly. Since this was made on RPGMaker, there's a lot of resources that come around it. So I was trying my best to make the environments be something I remixed, redrew and modified so my game looks more distinctive of what .. a WONDERFUL artist I am lol.
Hopefully this doesn't look ridiculous... but I thank the resource community for times when I was too lazy to draw a tree!

I am now going to the Full Indie Summit, to meet fellow indies and see learn lots from the community. I thank them so much for giving me this energy!
